Own your identity
Verify once.
Access everywhere.
Identiq gives people ownership of their digital identity, and lets the apps they use verify trust without ever collecting — or storing — another passport scan.

How it works
One verification. Every app.
Replace repetitive KYC with a single reusable identity.
Verify once
Connect a Stellar wallet and complete verification a single time. Identiq anchors the result on-chain as a hash — never the document itself.
Grant permission
When an app needs proof of who you are, you choose exactly what to share — and for how long. Nothing is shared by default.
Apps check, not collect
The app calls Identiq to confirm your credential is valid. It gets a pass/fail result, not a copy of your passport.
Who it's for
One identity layer, three audiences
Whoever you are, the same rule applies: you decide what gets shared, and with whom.
For individuals
Verify once, skip the repeat uploads
Prove who you are one time. From then on, apps ask Identiq for a yes/no — you never dig out a passport scan again.

Trust a counterparty without a paperwork loop
Marketplaces and platforms can confirm a business is verified before doing a deal — without collecting incorporation documents themselves.

Skip building your own KYC stack
Integrate a permission check instead of a document pipeline. Three lines of code instead of a compliance vendor contract.

Built for trust, not surveillance
Every piece of the system is designed around a single rule: never store what you don't have to.
Reusable identity
One verified identity per person, anchored to their own Stellar wallet — not stored in Identiq's custody.
Permission sharing
Every app gets its own scoped, expiring grant. Revoke access to any app at any time, instantly.
Credential expiration
KYC tiers, proof of address, and business verification all carry real expiry windows — no stale trust.
Business verification
Companies verify once too, so marketplaces and platforms can trust a counterparty without a paperwork loop.
Wallet reputation
A transparent, deterministic trust score built from account age, active credentials, and grant history — every factor is independently checkable.
Zero-knowledge proofs
Coming soon: prove a credential's result without revealing the underlying data at all, even to Identiq.
Questions
Common questions
Is my identity data safe?+
Identiq never stores your passport, ID scan, or any document. When you verify, only a cryptographic hash of the evidence checked is kept — a one-way fingerprint that proves something was verified without revealing what it was. Apps you approve receive a pass/fail result, never a document.
Do I need to understand crypto to use this?+
You'll connect a Stellar wallet (like Freighter) once, since that's what your identity is anchored to — but day to day you're just approving or revoking which apps can check your verification status, the same way you'd manage connected apps on Google or GitHub.
What does 'verify once' actually mean?+
You complete identity verification a single time. The result — e.g. "KYC Tier 1: passed" — is anchored to your identity with an expiry date. Any app you grant permission to can check that result instead of asking you to verify again.
Can I control which apps see what?+
Yes — every app gets its own scoped, expiring permission grant for a specific credential type. You can review and revoke any app's access at any time from your dashboard; revocation takes effect immediately.
Is Identiq free to use?+
Yes, currently free — Identiq runs on Stellar's public testnet today. Mainnet pricing, when it launches, will be usage-based (pay per verification), not a subscription.
What if I run a business or platform, not just an individual account?+
Businesses can verify once too, the same way individuals do, and marketplaces or platforms can check that verification instead of collecting incorporation documents themselves. See the integration guide for developers who want to build this in.
Pricing
Free while Identiq is in testnet
Every identity, credential, and permission grant runs on Stellar testnet today, at no cost. Mainnet pricing will be usage-based — pay per verification, not per seat.
